I was born in 1967, and I live and work in Lisbon and Évora. I am an artist and Associate Professor at the Department of Visual Arts and Design of the School of the Arts, at the University of Évora. I am an integrated member of the Center for Art History and Artistic Research (CHAIA) at the University of Évora (UÉ), and a collaborator of ITI.LARSYS, CIEBA/FBAUL and CICS.NOVA research centers. I have a Licenciate degree in Painting (FBAUL, PT), a MA in Printmaking (RCA, UK), a PhD in Sociology (NOVA, PT) and a PhD in Fine Arts-Multimedia (FBAUL, PT). On this webpage, which is an ongoing project, I present my most relevant art work. I completed a sociology PhD about women artists and videoart, a fine-arts multimedia PhD about net art and cocreation with shelter women and curated exhibitions and conferences on art and gender (Teatro Maria Matos, 2015 and MNAC-Chiado, 2017-18). At the present, I am part of the art collective Digitálias, a women art group of the Associação Ser Mulher, Évora, a non profit organization focused on domestic violence, and I coordinate the art research project Cabaz Digital / Digital Basket.
