Esta obra híbrida, que combina net art, um livro de artista e um painel de pintura Puzzle PeçasDelas/ HerTiles Puzzle, 2023, presta homenagem às vidas das mulheres trabalhadoras rurais da aldeia de São Miguel de Machede, no município de Évora, Alentejo Central, que viveram durante a ditadura do Estado Novo (1933-1974), e pretende contribuir para enfraquecer a amnésia social em torno das histórias das mulheres. As imagens e os textos da obra derivam das memórias orais das próprias mulheres, recolhidas através de conversas informais, nas quais elas partilharam com confiança e honestidade as suas experiências nas áreas do trabalho, família, saúde e lazer. Este trabalho foi desenvolvido no âmbito de um projeto em que participei, a convite da Casa do Montado, Évora, em 2023, intitulado AAA+8 Mulheres, Conhecimento Prático e o Montado. O projeto foi apresentado no festival Artes à Rua 2022, em Évora, pela Casa do Montado, em parceria com a Associação Ser Mulher, a Associação Fábrica Catalã, a Escola de Artes e o Centro de História da Arte e Investigação Artística da Universidade de Évora. This hybrid piece in the form of net art, an artist book and a painting panel Puzzle PeçasDelas/ HerTiles Puzzle, 2023, pays tribute to the lives of rural working women from the village of São Miguel de Machede, in the municipality of Évora, Central Alentejo, who lived through the Estado Novo dictatorship (1933-1974), and aims to contribute to weakening social amnesia surrounding women's stories. The images and texts in the work are derived from the oral memories of the women themselves, collected through informal conversations, in which they confidently and honestly shared their experiences in the areas of work, family, health and leisure. This work was developed as part of a project in which I participated, at the invitation of Casa do Montado, Évora, in 2023, entitled AAA+8 Women, Practical Knowledge and the Montado. The project was presented at the Artes à Rua 2022 festival in Évora by Casa do Montado, in partnership with Associação Ser Mulher, Associação Fábrica Catalã, Escola de Artes and the Centre for Art History and Artistic Research at the University of Évora.
