Stochastic differential equation modeling of growth of individual organisms in a random environment

Description

Our goal is to develop an integrate study of stochastic differential equation (SDE) models for the growth (measured by weight or length) of individual organisms (animals, plants) living in randomly fluctuating environment, including tools for practical applications.

Forestry and cattle breeding, very important economic activities in the Alentejo region, are among the applications that will benefit considerably from this project.
